"The hotel accommodation seems to be spread across 3 sites which was a bit confusing. I was part of a group of 13 and we were in different buildings.
However I loved my room. It was a spacious double. Very clean and comfortable.
The staff were very helpful.
There didn’t seem to be any soundproofing though which made nights quite noisy. Take earplugs."
"Can't fault the hotel at all, in prime location, staff fantastic, breakfast amazing, booked 3 dbl rooms, requested through Expedia if I could have a quiet room, as undergoing treatment and was going to recuperate on this beautiful island, got back to me, to late to cancel, and book elsewhere, basically saying couldn't contact said hotel?? Strange one that, was put in three adjacent rooms, directly at the side of wether spoons, the noise on all nights untill 3 in the morning was absolutely...
"A brilliant location. Bus stops right in the square, you can get anywhere on the Island.
The George is a bit tired but the staff and location makes up for it.

"I received a warm welcome at reception and was able to store my bag until it was time to check-in, later in the day. My room had a sea view and was clean, tidy and contained everything I required during my visit. I'd happily stay here again on any future visits to the Isle of Man."

"The opel express was very clean and the breakfast very good with plenty of choice the room had excellent amenities provided ,with a kettle in room and tea coffee and water topped up daily, only saw staff at breakfast and checkout, it was self check in with key to room left in a safe, the room did have a ceiling fan which was very noisy and could only use with the light on, I was there during a very hot period so not much comfort throughout the night, the view from the room was not good looking...

"It was quite a frustrating stay. We had issues with getting our room fully cleaned (checked in on Monday, room cleaned on Thursday). Also, the second morning we were woken up by a complete construction next door - no warning, no notice. With that said, after many trips to the reception, the issues were fixed and the staff was apologetic. Also, great central location and great breakfast."
