"Great property for one night stay before flight. The room is very big and very nice. Good shower. We didn’t use the restaurant as there is a nice one 5 mins walk away called Nacional which is great for a drink and snack or full meal. We arrived at 6pm and it was easy to park in the road outside as the workers from nearby offices had gone home but when we left at 8.30 the next morning the road was full of cars but I’m sure there would still be parking maybe a longer walk away. "A little bit off the path of Madrid, but worth it. If you don’t mind a bit of walking, a metro station is about 15 minutes away - through a very nice, calm and safe neighbourhood. Property is quite nice. Courtyard is a nice place to sit at night. Pool gets a lot of sunshine in the day. Staff are excellent and friendly. I felt very safe and the place was clean. "The room was fine, but there was no air conditioning available this day because of maintenance, and no fan was provided. We had to sleep with the windows open, but still was not cool enough, besides bugs and trees in full bloom right outside that caused a lot of allergy issues. I'm sure this hotel is normally fine, it seems nice. But this was a scheduled maintenance, and we were not told when we checked in that no A/C would be available. They should not have accepted reservations for this...

"This hotel has tons of character and charm. Had a really comfortable stay. Didn’t eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely. The staff were caring and helpful. We had two bicycles which they were able to look after in the basement. Fantastic location too!"

The hotel was supposed to have an airport tranfer but for one or other reason I did not get the pick up or drop off. There is a bus 200 that stops a km from the hotel. "
