"We liked that although we arrived after sunset, when the office was closed, picking up the outside-office phone got us in touch with a friendly man who told us where we could find the keys.
Down side was the picture used to advertise the room was one we recognized as being a down stairs room that we stayed in that previously. Should have studied the description more closely.
We did get a unit on the second floor of a different building that could sleep five as advertised but wife was unable...
"Liked the location, well within walking distance of cafes and other amenities. The Bus Stop being at the gate was specially important to 1 member of our family. The Proprietors were excellent to deal with and very helpful. The room was clean and tidy.
We would happily book a stay there again."
"Great place! Room very comfortable, private bathroom and shared kitchen. The owner lives in site very friendly and made excellent Mexican dishes. Will definitely be back!

"Good size for our family and good location. Room was very musty smelling and had a faint smell of smoke. Cigarette butts were left on the door mats and around car park. The sheets are velvety and strange feeling so had to sleep on top of the top sheet. The court yard area was dirty and had rubbish in it. Wifi was pretty poor and although there is a big sign out the front for Netflix it didn’t work on either of the tvs."
"Close proximity and good walking distance (10-15min) to many cafes and restaurants.
The room is spacious snd clean. Love the bed, comfy and slept so well!"
"Oh my goodness this stay was fabulous! We travelled New Zealand and this has been our favorite stay! Beachwood is perfectly located to everything and the room was beautifully appointed. We had a full kitchen, a comfy bed and plenty of living space to spread out into. Our hosts, Dion and Mackey were lovely. They gave us lots of tips and checked in daily to be sure we had everything we needed.
Don't hesitate! Book it! You won't be disappointed!
