"The original room we were offered was dirty with a badly stained carpet and dirty pipework in the bathroom. The walls were dirty with peeling paint and the mattress had very little support left in it. We complained about this room and were moved to another room (the only alternative available which had 2 single beds - not what we had reserved but the only acceptable alternative). "Booked this hotel for 1 night. After arriving at the hotel I was asked to pay for the parking (£10/night) First of all charging hotel guests for the parking is ridiculous but even worse when I’ve heard that if you book the room with hotel directly then parking is free but booked through Expedia is not… the same guest - different treatment. It’s a scam. Room itself was very dirty - all cups and cutlery in the room had stained marks, glasses in the bathroom had still toothpaste residue on them....

"The Marine Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were fantastic. The pool was clean but needed some maintenance. The hotel also needed some maintenance and a complete update. The entertainment was good but very loud for nearby bedrooms."

"Firstly, location is perfect. Just on the edge of the village and the start of the Llanberis path is right outside, so no driving or parking charges if you intend walking Snowdon on this route. "Stayed 1 night with my husband and 6 year old daughter. Lovely clean hotel Poilte staff Nothing is too much for them. I asked for an iron and hairdryer, within minutes it was at my door!!! Nice touch with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits. Very close to all local amenities Shame they were fully booked or I would have stayed another night."
