"The pool and the facilities are really nice. I didn't much care for the breakfast or the room not having a dedicated bathroom with a door. That can make it uncomfortable for those who need some privacy. Staff is great and the bed is comfortable."

"What a pleasant stay our family enjoyed at La Kukula Lodge! The accommodations exceeded our expections for the price. Proximity to the beach while being surrounded by jungle was fantastic! Cooked-to-order breakfast each morning ensured we started our day off right. We will definitely be back- thank you!!"

"It was quiet and comfortable. The charm of the room made the stay very relaxing. We didn’t miss not having a television. The internet was slow so don’t expect to get any work done if you planned on working instead of enjoying the nearby beach."

"The property was cute but the room was not -- it had some kind of debris falling from the ceiling and onto the the bed, which was worrisome. Not sure if it was dust, wood, or pest waste. No air conditioning and there's wi-fi in the restaurant area, which is hundreds of feet away from the rooms. Dinner not always available (there was a private event that precluded other guests from having dinner) but did have a good breakfast."
