"Our room was quiet and clean. The staff were very helpful and gave us some great tips of places to visit and where to park. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice. Parking was a little tricky but was very safe and secure"

"All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special."

"Lovely stay at The Falcon. Breakfast was superb and staff were exceptional. Super friendly and personal. The room was functional and clean - everything was just great. Highly recommend it!"

"The room was clean and spacious, with an extra bed provided. The toilet was also clean. However, the Wi-Fi was not working during our stay, and the bedside lamps were not in working condition. Apart from these issues, it was a nice and comfortable stay overall."

"👍"

"We enjoyed our stay , the room was nice clean and basic location brilliant onsite site parking, breakfast very nice one down fall we had a low floor room road side very noisy and other guests were very noise passing our room"

"Lovely staff, well kept room, delicious breakfasts, dinner, and Sunday lunch"

"It is a unique property a hotel with no reception area. But the rooms were clean. The lady who cleaned the rooms was lovely. Text messages were responded to timely. We didn’t have any issues while we were there. We actually extended our stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay in an old mansion. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, spacious and warm. We could hear the door closing in the corridor a few times but it did not disturb our sleep. Breakfast was perfect. We would recommend a stay at this hotel."

"Excellent accommodation and food at the Pub was also very good."

"70s charm = hasn't been decorated since then. Shared loos, showers and kitchen facilities. But it was cheap."

"Really nice stay here during the summer holidays. Lovely view out of our room and the bar was very nice and served decent food, even for us vegans! Would recommend a stay here :)"

"Superb lovely experience. Staff very friendly and helpful where possible. Cosy, food was fantastic and spa jacuzzi has fab view"

"Room wasn’t overly clean. Was dusty and had cobwebs. This was a gold room and in picture advertising it showed a lovely bath which is why we chose it. When we got there it was a shower and we questioned it to be told it was just a catalogue picture and they had no baths! The shower was stained with orange and needed steam cleaning and bleaching. The bed was metal and squeaky when sitting on it and only a double so small for a gold room. Couldn’t open window as level with bushes so let all bugs...

"Fabulous property , the rooms have been done to a very high standard . Gorgeous bathroom and facilities are great too . The mini bar was a nice touch as was the complimentary ice cream . Best hairdryer I’ve ever used , lovely fluffy bathrobes , I could go on…"

"A nice place to stay with friendly helpful staff in a beautiful location. Having family close by this will be our first choice to stay on our many visits."

"Staff were really helpful. Breakfast was good. The locations was stunning"

"The staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially when I couldn't open the key cabinet. Dinner was quite excellent and reasonably priced. Room was larger than expected but TV reception was patchy and screen kept freezing perhaps due to poor Wi-Fi reception. One thing to remember, they do not have allocated parking - whilst there is a large car park behind it is £2 for 2 hours and £6 for a day but keep in mind the gates are shut from10pm to 8am which is unhelpful when you need to leave...

"Lovely big rooms staff were great and amazing breakfast!!"
