Stayed three times in the last 6 months, the hotel has a delightful, elegant ambience, lovely rural views with helpful, attentive staff. At lunch the food was superb and excellent value. I thoroughly recommend a stay in this fine hotel.

Wonderful location and service

Wonderful location and very welcoming to both ourselves and our dog. Great grounds for the dog to explore, but would appreciate more off lead and off road paths to be available to guests.

Wedding Anniversary short stay

The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the food and service were excellent. Would recommend for a short stay and for a wedding. Surrounding areas are so so?

Great welcome and easy check-in. Lovely room with a great view. Dinner in the Conservatory was excellent, as was breakfast. The only disappointment was the lack of water pressure in the shower, meant it took an age to use!

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was a nice size and lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had a good choice of food at breakfast and there was plenty of it. I would definitely stay here again. Overall it was a lovely experience.

Couldn't do enough for us, very helpful. Food excellent and plenty. Good selection of alcohol not overly expensive. Room very comfortable quiet and well presented. Couldn't use the grounds due to storm damage and risk.

Beautiful location lovely local walks, convenient for West/Mid Wales. Culture and friendliness of service absolutely top notch. They do have an EV charging point which is particularly useful for those coming from a long distance or exploring this rural area. They may need more than 1 soon but I was the only EV owner staying.

The stay was lovely, staff were friendly and would go out of their way to help. I only have one complaint, and that is the food i had on the Thursday night was not enjoyable. The rack of lamb was tough and i couldn't eat it.

Given the opportunity I would rate our experience as VERY GOOD. What a find !! Lovely sight of a grand old house at end of long driveway, lovely large surrounding private grounds. Very impressed. All staff very welcoming, friendly, helpful, polite and efficient. Many period details survive. Large elegant dining room, welcoming lounge. Large sun kissed conservatory and terrace. Room was very nice with large ensuite. Thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful Stay

I recently stayed at The Falcondale Hotel and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is perfect with amazing views. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. My room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water, toiletries and a cookie jar. The room decor was beautiful and the bathroom was modern and fresh. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety with fresh, high-quality options but you can still have a full English if required. You can walk around the beautifully maintained grounds which incorporates a small wood. Overall, I had a truly pleasant stay and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommend.

A night at the Falcondale Hotel Lampeter.

Really enjoyed staying here; staff were very helpful and pleasant. Took quite a long time to summon reception although there was a notice saying that staff were around and could be alerted. Wonderful grounds and view from our bedroom was magical. Had a good evening meal and a very good varied breakfast. Would recommend it.

Overnight doggie stay

I booked into this hotel last minute as it was the bank holiday and we thought we would have a night away from home. As we have two dogs we obviously had to find somewhere dog friendly. We have taken our dogs away with us on may occasions but never have I found anywhere as accommodating as this wonderful hotel. We stayed in a beautiful room which had a dog bed, dog throws, eating and water bowls. We were not once told our dogs were not welcome anywhere except from the main dining room but instead were directed to a lovely conservatory overlooking the lovely garden with views of the beautiful valley so in fact would have been our choice of where to eat anyway. The hotel is surrounded by lovely grounds to take your dogs out in. From our perspective the hotel is fabulous with wonderful staff and the food in the restaurant was absolutely lovely for both dinner and breakfast. I couldn’t recommend this gem of a hotel enough
