"Very nice peoperty. My mountain view cabin was amazing! No view of mountain but there's a great view 2 mins walk away at the Miraflores Restaurant. Rough road getting in. Hotel arranged a taxi for us to the airport in Liberia, $100 US cash. The road conditions are an issue. I personally wouldn't drive my own vehicle on this path. Hotel should get this paved. "The pool at Borinquen is surrounded by trees and is set kind of in a valley and in the afternoons between 3-5 you could start to see the branches moving on the trees and all of a sudden, you would start to see monkeys swinging from branch to branch. Mama monkeys carrying their baby monkeys, monkeys "fighting", eating, just going about their day. It was absolutely amazing. That was when the spider monkeys came out. "This is a beautiful small boutique style hotel. Everything is on the ground level, which is nice not to have to use an elevator every time you come and go. The pool has a beach style entrance and a deeper area for lap swimming. Its quite and lots of loungers in the shade. The amazing staff is the same few people, so I really got to know/trust them.
