The staff was so kind and accommodating; we arrived at around midnight and the front desk was kind enough to still sell us waters , then we woke up late and missed breakfast, but the kind lady there still made us a delicious fresh breakfast since there was no one else around. "This is a very cute hotel with a lovely view and a roof top terrace for enjoying breakfast. However, it’s dangerous in the surrounding area at night snd when we arrived they ushered us to our room without giving us any towels, water or any food option. The staff wanted to be helpful but didn’t speak English. The breakfast on the terrace made it worthwhile, though. "

"This is a very different style hotel if you are used to staying in the big chains. We had a family room booked for my family of 3. My son slept in the loft and loved it. The hotel appears to have been completely restored. Lots of old wooden features and art work. There is a wine cellar where you can purchase a bottle of wine and there is a spiral stair case that takes you to the roof and gives you a GREAT view of the historical area of Quito. We encountered rain every night so we did not...
