"Great property for one night stay before flight. The room is very big and very nice. Good shower. We didn’t use the restaurant as there is a nice one 5 mins walk away called Nacional which is great for a drink and snack or full meal. We arrived at 6pm and it was easy to park in the road outside as the workers from nearby offices had gone home but when we left at 8.30 the next morning the road was full of cars but I’m sure there would still be parking maybe a longer walk away. "The food was excellent, both for breakfast and buffet, and the stuff was extremely helpful. The hotel was totally quiet even though it was near the airport. The bed was comfortable. A friend recommended it, and we were pleased with our stay. "

We had to sleep with the windows open, but still was not cool enough, besides bugs and trees in full bloom right outside that caused a lot of allergy issues. I'm sure this hotel is normally fine, it seems nice. But this was a scheduled maintenance, and we were not told when we checked in that no A/C would be available. They should not have accepted reservations for this...

"This hotel has tons of character and charm. Had a really comfortable stay. Didn’t eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely. The staff were caring and helpful. We had two bicycles which they were able to look after in the basement. Fantastic location too!"

The staff were outstandingly good. Reception, housekeeping, maintenance, all deserve a mention for their efficiency, courteousness and politeness. No complaints at all. "We wanted an overnight stop halfway from Almeria to Santander without going into Madrid itself. The hotel was ideally situated just off the A2 and parking was available right outside the hotel. The restaurant attached to the hotel provided a late snack and drink when we arrived and a good value breakfast the next morning (4 Euros for a breakfast which included bacon and eggs!).
