"The room was impeccably clean. The kitchen has everything you need, and the bed is so comfortable. The staff was warm and friendly. One minor issue is that their visa/debit isn't working for security deposit which needs to be fixed as all hotels have this as an option in 2026. But the staff waved the security deposit to fix the issue which was perfect. I love that they have rides to and from the hotel and amenities (clubhouse -restaurant and pool). "Enjoyable stay. Kim and Doug had many suggestions for things to see and do in the area. We did alot of hiking so were interested in hiking trails. Room was nice, room clean.Plan on returning soon. "

"When we were arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was cleaning our parking spot of the snow. Super friendly and wonderful check-in. The room was very quaint and clean (other than a bone under the bed). All was wonderful, other than there were very minimal receptacles, but we travel with enough cords to deal with our CPAP and Laptop. The Wi-Fi for the laptop kept dropping out, but other than that, we will most certainly stay again. "

Its not really possible to swim by the cottage. there's a fair bit of boat traffic and the water is shallow with a lot of rocks and obstacles. You have to swim off the dock.
