"Front desk went out of there way to make sure we had a room to stay in without us being able to communicate with them for a late check-in. We arrived at 11:45pm. Fortunately they had emailed us info on the room and location of key for it. We had a great sleep. "

"Clean, comfortable hotel close to the railway station and town centre. I had a small room and the hotel were honest and said it was probably best suited to solo travellers or short stays. The room was big enough but the bathroom was tiny. Fine for solo travellers though. Very clean and comfortable. "

"The room was rather small but cozy and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and informative. There is parking right across the street that was very easy to access and allowed you to pay in advance for overnight parking. Very close to the Main Street and beautiful views."

"overnight stay on my way to the Outer Hebrides. On checking in a was surprised to hear I had been upgraded to a bigger room. The bed was big and comfy and the shower was powerful and hot. I had dinner and breakfast at the bistro which was limited for veggies but no more so than any other restaurant and the staff were helpful and polite. "

"A very well set up room for us, for a last minute pick in Oban. Though not large, everything we needed was there, working, and comfy and quiet. We recc the Oban Inn, along the far edge of town near the waterfront, for great food and atmosphere. And the live caeli (sp?) music was really good. "

The view over the bay, and the local wildlife enjoying their breakfasts outside the window, added an extra charm ... Coupled to a superb restaurant at the hotel next door, not to mention the magnificent scenery and history of the area, we couldn't have found a more ideal place for a short holiday. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment accommodated our group of 6 well and was spacious. The furnishings are a little older but the grounds and the view to the lake are lovely. We enjoyed a drink at the onsite bar. It is worth checking the location on Google Maps as it is a little off the beaten track, but that is part of its charm. "

The staff was short and rude with us and unaccommodating, which is our only complaint of the facility. It is a very bare bones place so if you are simply looking for a place to rest your head at the end of the day, this is a good choice."
