"The room itself was okay for 2 nights. But it was the time of the heatwave, and I could only open the window literally one inch, so it was suffocating to stay there. Luckily, the housekeeper got me a fan that helped, but I hope they adjust it so it can be opened to at least 3-4 inches which is the standard safety gap."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice, large and had everything needed. The bathroom was small but adequate, the linens were large and fluffy. The breakfast, which was extra, we felt was good for the price paid. And consisted of cold items and a menu of hot items."

"Hotel was very nicely laid out and staff friendly. Onsite parking provided, at a cost of £10 per day. It would have been nice if this was made clear at time of booking. Problem with TV. I had to fully reset and retune to enable it to operate. Reception staff did try, but were too busy (and probably under staffed) to spend time fixing. Suggest this is part of check list for hotel prior to new guests. Wi-Fi not the best managed to get 2 bars at best. Room noisy in morning as hotel is on busy...

"Lovely hotel, the room was very nice. Loved the decor. Friendly staff and the breakfast was great! Short walk to the center of Oban with lovely views."

"What a wonderful hotel overlooking the sea! The staff were more than helpful in assisting with luggage, repairing broken things, and booking taxis! Everyone was so kind! The food at the restaurant is delicious. We had dinner there as well as breakfast after our night there! I hope to come back and stay for a longer time with them in the future! Thank you to all the employees but especially Evie!"

"Inexpensive clean room hot pot with tea and instant coffee. Pub downstairs"

"We had a wonderful stay at Ronebhlal B&B. The host was very nice and helpful with questions. The room was perfect. A big window with a perfect view of the bay. Super clean and very new and updated with great treats awaiting weary travelers. We loved it!"

"Nice room, plenty of space including common room"

"Our stay at Glencruitten House was lovely. However, for the price there are a few things that did not exactly meet expectations. First, upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink to enjoy in the sitting room, which was very nice. But there was no direction for what we should do after. We were not offered assistance with bags at check-in, so we went to fetch our own bags after we finished our drinks. When we lugged in our bags we were told “oh someone could have helped you with that”. It was...

"The big nitpick for is lack of parking. Unless you're strictly staying overnight and leaving first thing in the morning you have to pay. It's kind of cheap but it's the principle of already paying for a room."

"We had the most incredible stay at the Castle. The history, beauty and charm of the castle is incredible and I highly recommend. Rich and Jess were lovely hosts and could not have made our stay more comfortable. The breakfast and evening cocktail hours were enjoyable as well. We will absolutely return!"

"Very lovley and charming B&B with excellent hosts and breakfast and jam/marmalade choices! We only regret staying one night!"
