I think the hotel itself is a part of a large chain, but it did not have the plain and sterile ambience of current large hotel chains. "Great view, private, great shower, grounds are beautiful, the deck is as shown in the picture(very nice with a great view). I was here in the rainy season, so you can hear the stream as a steady sound. When the rains come in the afternoon it’s runs pretty quickly. I like the location as it is a little out of town and quiet. Not on a busy street. Would stay again "

"Really beautiful hotel. Garden is superb. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and clean. No possibility to eat on site. Closest restaurant is 8 minutes walk. For more choices, it requires a taxi to go downtown. No staff on site after 7 pm. Breakfast not available before 8 am unless you ask the day before (earliest at 7:30am)."

"The Albetos is rated 3 stars and that is correct. The amenities maybe 3 but the service and friendliness of staff is 2 thumbs up and is a 4. We received a gratuite late checkout and a complimentary bottle of wine because due to delays at Copa Airlines we missed a night stay was great. The garden and breakfast area was by the way wonderful. "

"It was a great stay, good value rooms and great location next to The Rock. The room with a loft is good for families, but can be complicated with small children (younger than 6). Not enough room to comfortable store clothes (would have been tight even for 2 in a room with a King bed and two twins in the loft), so would more closet space. We enjoyed the common living room and being able to walk to The Rock (its the same property, but building next door)."
