Bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) are small flowers which carpet the ground in many woodland areas in Britain in the springtime. The photo was taken in the late afternoon in May. The light from the sun at a low angle in the sky gives a pleasing effect. The photo was taken in a patch of woodland called Dockey Wood between Hurst Farm and Ivinghoe Common (see link below to map) located about 1 mile from Ringshall on the north side of the road to Ivinghoe Beacon. It is just in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom.

"The building is in need of a full refurbishment throughout. Tired carpets and curtains, damaged or poorly repaired walls, broken lifts and windows. For the price listed, i could have found better and had i have known, i would have. The parking was free, after speaking to the young man on reception, he said it was not necessary to record my vehicle registration. So i guess we'll see if a ticket lands at my door. Wouldn't recommend this hotel. "
