"A little birthday weekend away with our two spaniels and what a fantastic place. This is obviously someone’s home it was perfect. It had everything. From fold up tables to eat at if you didn’t want to use the breakfast bar, to recliner chairs and sofa. The whole house was spotless and we felt welcome from the moment we received the arrival instructions from the owner. Surrounding information sheets with information and instructions on how to use everything in the house, including the washing machine. Worth every penny, relaxing home from home you could not ask for more, we will definitely be back. "

"First sight of the hotel made me think its was a bit run down, outside paint work and car park (that was of a good size) needed some TLC. On going in the Hotel was busy, the 2 staff that where there were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fine room was ok for me ( bathroom needed to be made over) i was in room 12 facing the road so if you a light sleeper not the best room as you face the main road. Martin who was holding the fort was on his own most of the time and did what he could to help guests, he is the chef and the meals that he did where 5 star. Behind the hotel is a Leisure Club, the pool and jacuzzi was a very nice place to relax at the end of the day."

"I LOVED this hotel. I’m a world touring cyclist and I love quiet and remote. This hotel was FANTASTIC. Idyllic setting high above the bay. Beautiful grounds. Lovely gardens. Stunning. The hotel just had a makeover and it looks beautiful! My room overlooked the sea—clean and comfortable and a great bathtub! Breakfast was plentiful and high quality. A dreamy stop as I pedal the UK. "I stayed at the Palm hotel for a business weekend. The hotel was very clean. Good choice of options for evening meals. Breakfast options were excellent. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. Really good location only five minutes drive from the railway station and minutes to the venue I was attending."
