"We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The location, the room, the pool, the staff were all very good. We saw some very negative and very positive reviews and so we were very curious about how our stay would be. We are Marriott Platinum Elite Members and this property is not one of the finer Marriott properties, but it could have been a nice Marriott property with all of the amenities. We were very pleasantly surprised. We will stay here again."

"What an amazing place. We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was slightly secluded, which gave it a nice feel. Definitely jungle vibes without having to actually be in the jungle. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. There were even some chairs outside on the deck, which we sat in while it was raining. Very calming. Breakfast was great. "Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights and extremely helpful :)"
