"Free parking made this the ideal place to stay the night before an early morning flight from Stansted. Everything you would expect from a Holiday Inn. "

"The stay overall was fine, but, we arrived late in the evening, and the windows in the room were open - on a chilly evening, and we couldn't get the heating to work. And the water pressure in the shower was very poor, which was a major disappointment, as the actual shower looked very inviting.."

"Hotel is directly opposite where you check in, which is The George pub. No staff being readily available in the building was a little inconvenient as we had a few confusing moments with the room temperature and couldn’t change it. Also, tv remote was broken so was difficult to navigate using it, but having no main reception in the building meant you couldn’t just pop and get a replacement! But it was very clean, large wet room and not too much trouble to navigate once inside. Would stay again, as it conveniently on the high street so all shops are so close."
