The hosts were brilliant, even down to being shown which parts of the building were eldest & a centuries old stone winding staircase that was used by soldiers in the days of fighting over the English Scottish border. "Probably the best place I’ve stayed in a long time. The food at the pub is first class and home cooked, non of the usual pub clone food. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, bed was great and the shower was fantastic. Thoroughly recommend this place, I’ll be back. "
