"I had an email last the night before we were going to say there was no food served in the hotel ! This was a red flag for me so I read the reviews….. wow they were awful . There was no way we were going to stay after reading them … Didn’t get a refund but I think we had a lucky escape. Only booked there because we had stayed there a few years back and it was lovely ( by reading the reviews it looks like it’s got new owners)"

"Ok for a nights stay.Badly in need of some TLC"

"Convenient location, outstanding customer service including the night staff because I had an early checkout. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I will definitely revisit when in the region . Rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable."

"The hotel is extremely filthy. The hot water wasn’t working on the day of stay. Room was a mess. Hotel is falling apart. The bath tub looked nasty. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel if someone paid me to. Beds were disgusting. The carpet looked worse than a shelter home. And all the reviews that say this is a top notch hotel are false. You are better off staying on the street than this hotel."

"It just needs a bit more in the room for the price"

"The property is average at best! The shared bathrooms need renovation, they work but warm water takes a while but atleast it all worked I guess! The room was clean but lacks anything other than a bed really! Window was broken and the chair/place to sit was wobbly! Yet for the price, I can't overly complain about the property as a whole!"

"Good"

"The hotel is clean, the bed was comfortable. Close to gig venue. Excellent for a budget stay. However, description of parking as ample is incorrect. Car park was full, including disabled spaces. We had to pay £15 to park overnight. One tea bag in the room was a bit stingy!!!"

"Breakfast was great, staff were very help except Paul at the front desk, wasn't welcoming like other wonderful staff. Maybe having a bad day or something else. Overall it's a wonderful place to be and I will highly recommend."
