Easy to get to restaurants, shops, pubs and public transport. Not sure about parking as we travelled by train. "This hotel is right on the M4 junction and yet is quiet. You get exactly what you expect, breakfast is a reasonable choice of the usual things, can take away a coffee etc if travelling on. I stayed four nights and was very happy with the hotel."

Should have asked if they had a couple of softer pillows. "Stayed two nights for a long weekend, perched on the edge of Highclere Castle for our visit. Quite close to the A34, but even though our room was on that side we had no traffic noise. Nice little room upstairs in the cottage next door. Breakfast was included and that was excellent. Also had two evening meals, sample photos attached. Chef is very talented. Would happily return."
