"Booked last minute when we decided to stay the night in Newport. I was pleasantly surprised by the price forbthe accommodations. The place has tons of character, which I love. My husband didn't care for the way the floors sloped a bit. The included breakfast the next morning was served in another building across the parking lot and could be considered gourmet. The only downfall is that they didn't start serving until 8 and we were wanting to get on the road by then. It was also a doable walk to several restaurants and shops."

"The property is in a prime location, and we found it very easy to walk to all of our favorite spots. We absolutely loved our room (we were in the Jane Pickens) and found it very spacious. Check-in was easy and Nicole was very helpful. Honestly, I never write reviews, but I couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary weekend. I will absolutely be staying here again. "
