GREAT location. We walked to the ghost tour & art museum and athanaem, as well as meals downtown afterwards.
Really caring, hardworking staff who went the extra mile. Kim made me a FULL dairy free breakfast both days, including homemade pancakes and french toast. I honestly really only expected like peanut butter on toast or dairy free milk for cereal in the morning as accommodation and was pretty blown away that she made these items separately for one person. They also had dairy free cheese on the wine and cheese platter for me when I totally didn’t expect it-wow!! We had trouble with the fireplace in our room going out repeatedly and a staff member worked on it diligently until it was resolved with a new manual switch that was easy to use.
Loved the wooden shutters, steam shower, robes, towel warmer, and water in the room. Also really liked the private location—set away from other rooms. There was another room on the other side and I’d like to stay there in the future.
Although there are many wonderful things to do in Newport, this is the kind of B&B where you could also stay in the entire time with a good book and some music & movies and enjoy yourself as well. Really enjoyed meeting the other guests at the breakfast…interesting folks!
