"I enjoyed the kangaroo steak for dinner at the Tides restaurant. It was accompanied with sweet potatoes and broccoli. It was all excellent! I also loved being able to sit at the beach and sit by the pool. It made it an enjoyable experience."

"This lodge was in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest, which was so cool. There was a tiny pool, but 2 nice natural swimming holes to wade in However, food was quite pricey for the quality you received in the restaurant. The Continental breakfast was a nice touch in the morning. It was great that we were loaned a flashlight and umbrella for our stay."

"Great location on Macrossan St. central to grocery stores, restaurants, beach and Marina. I was not happy with the Queen Room I was given as the balcony was off the bathroom which was awkward. The room did not fit the description and room layout advertised on this expedia site and I was disappointed. If you book a queen room maybe check where your balcony sits if this matters to you. Otherwise we had a decent stay and would recommend this hotel."

"Great place"

"Greg, the proprietor, is a great guy, welcomed us personally, showed us into our room, set us up with excellent Starlink WiFi first thing and prepared a beautiful, big breakfast for us the next morning with sweet papaya, melon, excellent coffee, and poached eggs on ham, cheese and avocado toast. The room was comfortable and clean, with TV, and a fridge. The property is beautiful, nestled in the rainforest with countless birds and green mountains behind. He pointed out his flowering jade plant...

"Beautiful surroundings, great accomodation, comfortable and way above expectation! The outdoor shower was a total highlight! Would recommend to all!"

"Sauberes, einfaches Zimmer. Sehr liebe, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Leckerer Obstteller zum Frühstück. Lage mitten im Regenwald, wo man schon morgens die Vögel zwitschern hören kann."

"👍"

"Very happy with the bungalow we had. It was perfect for a couple and we loved being in the rainforest. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were also great. Our flight was delayed and we were arriving later than anticiapted but they were able to accommodate a later check in on short notice. Our gps was taking us further than the actual bungalow but there was signage so we found it easily even in the dark. I think the highlight of us staying here was being woken up by a...

"Amazing place! Has everything you need except cellular service - but let’s be honest you don’t need that either. Host was great and had suggestions on things to see nearby. The on property swimming hole was so nice for a hot summer day. Visit the insect museum nearby if it is open. "

"Pros: Great location. Bed was comfy. Comfy couch. Cons: cleaning was average, Locking safe didn’t work, 1st day we sweltered as couldn’t get the air con to work. The 2nd day fluked it turned on a key on the entrance wall & it turned out to be the master switch for the air con unit that no one told us about grrr.😡"

"Great place, great location, great hosts"

"Lovely house in great location to explore the region. Annie, the owner, was very helpful too. "

"Ferntree was basic accommodation. Towels were shabby, lighting around the place was not sufficient at night, restaurant food was below par, the beds were uncomfortable and the noise between rooms was far too evident"
