"We loved our stay here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and cheerful. We had a balcony room with a lovely view to the harbour. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The only small issue we had was that the taps were a hard to turn on and off in our room. Great selection for breakfast and dinner."

As a party of two couples we thought that the only two things we thought that could be improved on were the signs leading to check in from out side the building and also that the breakfast times were highlighted on a larger sign. "Great reception when we arrived, shown to our room, explained about parking and if we wanted meals/drinks in the restaurant, what times and cost was. Room was lovely and large, clean and tidy, modern. Bed comfy, lovely tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities. Bathroom was nice and clean. Towels were soft. It was quiet of a night time, room was warm and dark so perfect to help sleep. "

"Stayed as a solo traveller for a gig at the local theatre. Hotel has a great location on the sea front, with many restaurants close by. The town centre is only a short walk away too. My single room was quite big, clean but sparsely furnished - comfortable enough though. TV and shower were decent so couldn't complain. Staff are top notch, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding with top quality ingredients - far better than a few 4 star hotels I've been in recently."

"Ok for a 1 night stay. Staff seemed friendly enough. Room whilst generally clean and bed comfortable was in need of a makeover. There were dusty areas in the corners of the carpet and the shower cubical leaked, as there was no where to hang towel whilst in shower put on floor outside and it got soaking wet. Guess you get what you pay for. Had to pay a £50 security deposit whilst this was made clear when booking I have never been asked to do this before and I have stayed in many many hotels. Also...
