"The stay was great. We arrived in the early evening and were given a good room. I requested a roll away bed for our son. We were told that unfortunately they didn't have any left, but they could upgrade us to a mini suite. They enabled us to have a successful trip by moving a few things around while treating us as valued individuals and guests. The spa and pool were under renovation during our vist "

"The outside looked scruffy and tired abd the lobby area rather dark and dated. Once in the corridor leading to our room on the third floor it was tidy bright and newly decorated. The twin bed room was large clean and comfortable. A good night's sleep. "

"Staff and service were very polite.check in was excellent. for lunch we order wraps,loaded fries with chicken and from kids menu sausage with mash,peas and ice cream. Well...waiting time around 30min with couple of guest around at12.30pm...fries arrived with no chicken,sausage with beans,no ice cream. Chicken Wrap was ok but no seasonings at all. My room 140 was dusty and bathroom needed better clean.i do understand somedays it might be busier then others and is not possible to deepclean however...

"We stayed here one night prior to our son’s graduation. We were so pleased we did due to the close proximity to the university concourse. Parking was easy and free ( just submit registration at the reception). It was a quick and level walk to the university which was fantastic for getting to the ceremony early to get a good view. The accommodation itself was surprisingly good with quality furnishings and bath products. Breakfast was plentiful - even having my favourite marmite for toast! I had...

"The fan didn't work, the 2 skylight windows were full of cobwebs and didn't look like they had been cleaned, the tap in the kitchen was coming away from its base, the extractor fans were a little bit noisy.Would have liked to have been on a lower floor. Other than that, we would definitely stay again, loved the ruins and the squirrels. "

"Very difficult to find the reception. As there is no parking, outside. Even security doesn't really know, where every is. As I was sent in the wrong direction twice. The reception staff, who all seem to be students, are either too busy to help give good directions or don't care. Finally the room don't even have T.V.'s.. Not a relaxing stay at all "
