"The reception was the only quality about the property I will give a 5 star. The room was average. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The food experience was definitely sub par. It was repetitive, bland, and samey. How could fried plantains not be tasty? Most disappointing were the non responses. The Hotel reaches out by WhatsApp with a welcome and a departure message, asking you to respond, but you get no response to your message. After multiple messages commenting on a specific issue...
"The staff was very helpful and got us everything we asked or needed.
Room was nice and cool, shower, faucets and everything worked accordingly. Hot water took a second to change from cold but it was very hot when it did come out. WiFi worked well too.
Pool was clean and pretty quiet.
Breakfast was on par with other breakfast buffets. Omelette station was quick and delicious too.
One perk that I don’t get at fancy hotels was Netflix/Prime/apps so we could watch a little TV to wind down at...

"We have been coming to Hummingbird Beach since 2004.
We use to stay at the Hummingbird Beach Resort, but unfortunately they closed during the pandemic and have not reopened.
This is why we decided to book 3 nights at The Still Beach House as it’s on Hummingbird Beach right next to HBR.
We booked the largest of their rooms, which was a kitchenette.
We were surprised to arrive and find sodas, Piton beers and waters in our refrigerator…nice touch as well as ice trays in freezer to make...
"Honestly the apartment exceeded my expectations. Not only was the apartment impeccably clean, and beautifully furnished, my husband and I kept saying it felt like we were in Bali. The decor was minimalist, sleek and modern. We only stayed one night because we were taking a connecting flight through St. Lucia but we plan on returning for a longer getaway vacation in the future. The owners were very accommodating and helpful with providing transportation to get around."
