"This hotel was so cute and we couldn’t beat the location! Parking not too far from the hotel, walk is a tad steep but very doable! "

"We stayed here the night before our morning flight at Newcastle airport. We arrived around 6pm and got checked in quickly. Rooms were spacious and clean as were the toilets. Unfortunately our room had a broken window making the room very noisy during the night. Not ideal with a toddler and baby. We could no request a room swap as the children had fallen asleep prior to heading back to the room and waking them to do this was not an option. "

"Have stayed here many times before but this room was smaller than previously - it only had 2 power points so you had to decide between TV, kettle or charging your phone! The only other points were round pin!!! Room was also exceptionally hot Having the EV charger makes up for the minor issues though "

"Just a one night stay in the area. I only paid £41 for the night so didn’t expect too much. Perfect location for the sea front and Spanish City, town centre in easy walking distance. Rooms at the front will have a fabulous view when work is completed. Firstly the hotel is undergoing major renovations so looks a mess at the front - new bar and dining facilities planned. Inside it is very much on the old side but very clean from what I could see. Friendly and helpful staff. First class breakfast...

"Overall a very good experience helpful and polite staff and excellent food service in a great environment there are however some areas which should be considered. This hotel has no lift, has many levels and is not wheelchair friendly the rooms are good but areas that concerned us were a poor fit toilet seat and a non working extract fan, we did have a radiator leak but that was attended to, external road noise was a barrier to sleep!"

"We could smell the cleanliness as soon as we walked into our room, fresh and clean and plenty of room. The staff were friendly and helpful in pointing out local walks etc. The only drawback was the logging of our car registration on the machine in the foyer. Overly confusing what should have been an easy job. The breakfast food was always well cooked and plentiful, sets you up for the whole day. "
