"Hotel is clean and staff friendly. Location was near tube stops as well as bus. Good eats around bend and hotel has restaurant but we did not use. Overall good 4 night stay however room is very small with just minimal space more adequate for a single person versus couple. "

Air conditioning too loud and rumbling to have running through night, no windows on the cheaper inside rooms, so aircon is only means of some airflow. Very dusty in rooms and daily cleaning misses a lot. Really like that they have a coffee- tea station on each floor for a hot drink in morning. "This is a nice, budget hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was small but clean and the beds were really comfortable. The issue for me is the location, it doesn’t feel very safe coming back later at night (not super late, but post-theatre for example). It’s very dark, the street lighting is terrible and you can’t get off at the closest DLR station - there is no platform, you need to get off at Westferry, which feels a bit dodgy. "We stopped overnight on our way to Le Shuttle. Huge room and bathroom. Very clean. Comfortable bed . Didn’t eat here since cannot comment. Didn’t have breakfast which we considered too expensive and instead went to M&S next door . Parking costs an extra £5 which I always find very annoying if I am booking a hotel. Receptionist in the evening was not very friendly which is why 4 stars but morning receptionist was very cheerful . "
