"This Hotel does everything right. Firstly it's location is right next to Telford International Centre for conferences and exhibitions. Secondly it's a maximum 10 minutes walk to the South water development with a range of restaurants, Bella Italia etc, pubs, Hungry Horse, and entertainment Cineworld, Bowling Alley and more. "Loved our stay last week. Whenever we need to stay in Shrewsbury, We always check availability here first. We only had a standard room, but we had everything we needed including sheets (on this site it says the sheets aren't supplied, THEY ARE) refreshments etc. They don't do breakfast, but there was a really nice cafe across the road, the avocado bowl was amazing 😋"

"Great hotel good location"

"Breakfast options"

"Ideal location for a family visit & made our dog feel very welcome! Everywhere was beautifully decorated & the staff were very welcoming! Breakfast was amazing & we would definitely stay there again !! Well done to the Sutherland xx"

"Highly recommend this hotel. Stayed in room 340 the largest in the hotel. Absolutely fabulous"

Seemed like the people coming to play golf were parking in the hotel car park. But other than that it was a nice place to stay"

"Room was dirty"

"Good accomodation at a reasonable price."

"We regularly stay here - not posh but excellent value for money, quiet, helpful staff, clean rooms, good breakfasts."

Had to switch rooms as the first room (#10) the windows had a huge gap and wouldn't close so let in a lot of cold air. The second room was marginally improved but the heating wouldn't come on, shower head was disgusting so didnt use. Gaps under doors to the corridor meant you could hear all passers by. Far too expensive for...
