"The Blue Wave Inn is located directly on the water. We woke up to wonderful sunrises and ended the day with spectacular sunsets. The limited amount of rooms makes for a quiet, restful stay. It’s the exact opposite of a large, chain hotel! The contactless access makes checking in and out simple and easy. My wife especially enjoys the jetted tub, and I was impressed with the large, walk in, dual head shower. The water pressure is as good as I’ve ever experienced in a hotel! If you’re looking for a higher end hotel, that’s easy to find, easy to get in to, is close to a variety of restaurants, you’ll want to stay at the Blue Wave Inn! This was our second stay, and it won’t be the last!"

"This is an elegant older hotel kept in great condition. It’s like stepping back in time but still has all the amenities. The staff are very efficient and helpful and the complimentary breakfast and it’s setting were the best we’ve experienced in comparable hotels. The view of Lake Superior and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well kept."
