"Very clean hotel, spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. Bigger and fluffier bath towels than I expected from a standard hotel. Location great. Cafe Coco right up the road for breakfast."

"This is a clean, conveniently located motel. It has been remodeled within the last several years. The staff is friendly and helpful; pet friendly. Price is very good. Located on a busy road so bring ear plugs if traffic noise disturbs your sleep. Very good hot water. Two of us traveling so the room was adequate in size, 1 queen bed. I would definitely stay here again."

"The location was perfect in Bayfield - right across the street from the ferry to Madeline Island, and close to restaurants and shopping. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. We'd definitely stay there again!"

"Katie and Dave are amazing hosts and the property is exceptional. Their attention to detail in each room is apparent and watching the sun set over Lake Superior was awesome. Would highly recommend the Blue Wave Inn if you are ever in the area. A trip truly worth taking."

"Secluded but I can walk to stores and restaurants. 35 stairs brinhs me to a private beach. This is an adorable cottage with porch, sauna and hammock. My idea of " a little piece of heaven"!!"

"The manager at this hotel was fantastic She greeted us with such enthusiasm and helpfulness it was just amazing . You can see her staff looks up to her as well...The motel is just a motel But She makes this place special... Ashland is lucky to have her."

"Excellent experience. Property is perfectly located between the communities of Washburn and Bayfield making it ideal for people visiting the area. We spent our days kayaking Superior and mountain biking on the local trails just down the road. The house was the perfect size for our family of four, with a big yard for the kids to play in, and beautiful deck to eat meals on. Host was responsive and answered all of our questions…usually unprompted. We will be staying here again for sure!"
