"Really nice place to use as a base. Location is perfect for exploring Basel. Facilities were clean and perfectly functional for our needs.
The breakfast was ample, with a good variety of fresh food and drinks. There is a bit of a walk from reception to the room but not excessive and does involve a couple of flights of stairs. Breakfast is on the 8th floor which you can get to by lift. From here you have lovely views over the city.

"Overall this is a very good hotel. The rooms are very clean, the staff are superb and very helpful. I especially liked them providing me with a bottle to fill with water, freely available on each floor -this was wonderful.
My only criticism, and I’m being pedantic, is that it’s not obvious where to pay for items in reception fridges, I queued at bar only to be told I had to wait behind 5 people at reception waiting to checkout (I was joined by 6 others waiting to pay for same items at bar)

"Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter, was man auch sehen kann. Es ist jedoch alles sauber und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.
Ebenfalls liegt das Hotel sehr ruhig, da kann man sich gut erholen und ist auch sehr schnell in der Natur.
Das inkludierte Frühstück war für uns absolut ausreichend und die Qualität ist sehr gut. Ebenfalls ist das Personal hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich, trotz unseres eher bescheidenen Französisch Repertoires. :-)"
