"I stayed for 1 night came very late 2am but the staff and hotel was very accommodating, contacted the hotel ahead of time and they was able to send info to chk into there portal so that I can chk in before I landed, when I arrived the process wasn't even 5 mins and I was already in my room, and dont forget the free breakfast which was great. I definitely recommend and will stay here again. Thk you spice palace for all your hospitality."

"The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a short walk to the Forodhani Gardens and the former Slave Market. There are several restaurants closeby especially a very popular one Lukmaan. The area around the hotel is bustling in the day and quiet at night. A taxi cannot drive up to this property so you will to do a short walk through the streets to get there. The staff were friendly and always greeted us. They were helpful when we called for assistance with anything we needed to clarify...

Die Bewertungen und Fotos entsprechen nicht dem aktuellen Zustand, denn die Zimmer sind absolut runtergekommen, dreckig und wenn man in der Küche die Schranktüren öffnet krabbeln überall Kakerlaken umher. In den Badezimmern bekommt man gebrauchte Badeschlappen vorgesetzt. Die Sofas komplett verdreckt und über den Geruch wollen wir gar nicht weiter darüber sprechen. I spent two nights at Kholle House at the end of my three-week adventure in Tanzania, and it was a wonderful way to finish my trip.
Kholle House is full of character and history, with beautiful traditional architecture, unique rooms and an atmosphere that feels distinctly Zanzibar. It's a refreshing change from a conventional hotel and adds to the experience of staying in historic Stone Town.
