"We had a lovely stay. First time in a Moxye hotel and we enjoyed it. The only downside was the app for the car park. We were in town and wanted to renew the parking, but the App wouldn't load on any of our phones. We went in a bar to latch on the WiFi (thank you cocktail bar opposite Katie's tea room) and it still wouldn't load. My husband raced back to the care, but it was a few minutes over due. "The is small but very clean Staff were very friendly and so helpful I had no car so I didn’t need a car park. Air conditioning was good for the this time of the year."

"The property is a beautiful, yet old hotel with a rich history. However, my stay was not great. Front desk staff, if they’re there, act as if you’re an inconvenience - one gentleman was outrightly rude. I had questions about the train and opted to walk to the station and ask instead of risking another unpleasant interaction. Tap in bathroom broken, room not cleaned for the entirety of the stay. Could not reach the hotel by phone or email to let them know of my cancelled flight and late check in....

"Rooms where clean and staff was very friendly with a great location. A little difficult to reach staff before check-in time (11am), but this doesn't take away from the overall experience significantly in my opinion."

"Room was very basic, a chair to sit on would have been nice along with tea / coffee making facilities more hanging space for clothes rather than just 2 hooks in the wall. No issues with cleanliness and the bed was very comfortable. A choice at breakfast would have been rather than just been presented with a plate of food. "
