"Unfortunately, our two-week stay was quite disappointing, mainly due to the food and poor organisation.
The biggest problem was that there simply wasn’t enough food for all the guests. The menu was very limited at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At first, we thought we were arriving too late, but even when we started coming earlier, there was still not enough food and very little choice. We have stayed at many hotels in Zanzibar, and we have never experienced anything like this before. I find...
"Nothing at all to complain about regarding the hotel, it was excellent, but just note that the bay and the tide makes it not ideal for swimming/bathing at all times. But on the other hand, there is a looong pool available, so if the idea is to exercise swimming, this pool was excellent."
"A very cosy hotel for quiet holidays. Standard breakfast.
The tour operator Andre Group Limited (Tours & Travel) was nice to deal with. The hotel location demands a lot of private car & prepare for huge expenses for local transport.
Good for beach lovers."
"Relaxed beyond words during our stay @ Blue Reef. This place is a vibe…chill. Luxuries abound in our rooms (we stayed in the apartment). So much space for our family of 4 to really spread out and regroup after a week of safari in northern Tanzania. Snorkeling right from the hotel was perfect for the kids. The breakfasts were spot on for everyone in our group of picky eaters to find their favorites…GREAT COFFEE!!! The staff is laid back and welcoming while also taking care of business. We’ll be...
"Absolutely loved my two nights here at Villa Huruma. It’s a small cozy hotel which I really prefer to the giant hotels. The property is beautiful with great decor and lots of plants. The pool was so refreshing and the chairs comfortable. Everything here looks very new from rhe tile around the pool to the cement flooring and walls in the room. The balcony was also a nice bonus though the view isn’t great it’s nice to relax in the evening breeze. The breakfast was top notch especially the eggs....
"We loved everything about this hotel.. our beutiful room with monkeys in the trees right outside our bungalow..
The hotel is nice and quiet. The staff is so smiling and helpful. The beach outside is perfect. And in the evening you can walk to paje ang take a cheap tuk tuk back to the hotel.
Next time we go to zanzibar. Are we staying at this hotel.."
"We had a amazing time, food and facilities were up to the best standard.
Service was also excellent, very clean and positive staff! Highly recommended from us!"
