"The hotel was well located within the centre of Penang with a good selection of restaurants and cafés all within walking distance. The staff both at reception and also cleaning were excellent in particular a staff member who took care of my room who goes by the name of Harun was a lovely chap who could not do enough for us. We felt very welcomed throughout our day and would recommend the granite hotel to future visitors of Penang."

Como la mayoría de las cadenas el hotel está apostando por eficiencia más que servicio, lo cual es excelente si quieres descansar I dormir cómodamente. Si buscas una experiencia de servicio este quizá no sea el hotel que buscas. La ciudad es pequeña y fácil de caminar por lo que encontrarás buenos restaurantes cerca del hotel."
"The place is great, quite accessible, the hotel gives you this bit of historical feeling, it's calm and beautiful :)
The hotel was really nice but some things are still a bit surprising.
For exemple, if you don't put the "clean" sign on the door, they won't do your room. The breakfast is just a small meal that you have to choose on menu between 3 choices. And the staff was not super friendly. But never rude ! So overall it was ok :)
And the laundry service is a bit expensive.
But besides that...
"The window lock on the shared balcony was broken, leaving it easily accessible from outside.
So we asked a room change, but unfortunately, the only available alternative was a dark room facing inward, with absolutely no view of the sky.
The hotel staff insisted on calling this an "upgrade."
Next day, we were told "repaired" and returned to the Premier Room, but the lock broke again immediately.
This time, however, staff said that "no one would come in," so we had no choice but to tie the handle...
"Great location right by the ocean! You can enjoy the sunrise over the water from both the living room and the master bedroom. The property was very clean and had air conditioning units in every room. It looked exactly like the pictures and was very spacious for the three of us. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood, and the building has 24/7 security, so we felt very safe throughout our stay."
