The hotel rooms are big. Although it's not in the latest decorations, the room and bathroom are clean and functional, bed was comfortable with clean linen, meets our needs. The location is excellent. The New Land hawker stalls are literally on the doorstep, we were able to take away the food and enjoy them in the comfort of the airconed hotel room. Many attractions in Georgetown are within walking distance. We will stay at Sunway if we visit Penang again.

Everything was excellent and I would recommend it to stay. Excellent location, about 20 minutes walk to centre of old town. Found some wonderful restaurants behind the hotel. (NK kitchen and le vie en meigui. And the main street food area is next to the hotel.

The room was clean but I find the racks in the bathroom is far too high especially for Chinese elderly who are less then 5.5ft tall. Very good cooling air-conditional even in the big lobby. I like the shower area. Big enough and has a structure to sit although the floor is very slippery. The staff are very friendly especially the security personnel that bowed and greeted each time we moved in and out of the hotel. Good location that access to the famous food street. Also nice local delicacies around the vacinity.

The hotel staff service was efficient and excellent. The room was very clean and amenities were well kept. It is also convenient for shopping and local food tasting as Penang Road, Komtar and other shopping places are all within 10-15 minutes walking distance.
