"My room and the hotel in general were incredibly clean, fantastic! The room was basic but comfortable and had all the amenities required. My only complaint was that the room had no protection against noise from outside. It was really loud and kept me awake most of the night."

The route through to the room was grubby and also the entrance door was not closed and there were gaps in it. The conservatory and bar area were lovely but it felt a little unloved. We had an executive room booked for 2 nights and on arrival after 7pm we had no hot water in the bathroom, which after a long journey was disappointing to say the least. Reception staff had to reset boiler (apparently known problem) and we waited almost 2 hours to get hot water and the water pressure from the taps was poor as...
