"Nice place, only an overnight stay. A slight walk from the main road if you're on foot, under 10 mins. No direct transport from Newton Abbot station but if you fancy a 30-minute walk it's not a bad route. On the tip end of River Teign and quite scenic with a nice outdoor garden. Guessing you can take dogs in as they have a dog wash on site :) Restaurant and bar has some good choices."

"Great hotel, great location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Yes the rooms are very traditional (made me feel nostalgic) but very clean. Outdoor pool was a bonus and well maintained"
