"Certainly the best sea view anyone could ask for; room 28 1st floor. The staff were great and pleased to help. Breakfast was good and plentiful. However, the room was very tired and I have no doubt that considerable improvement and investment will be required for it to compete with other hotels in the area. It is however value for money. Thank you for a good stay."

"Weekend away with the other half. Overall good hotel and well worth the money. Staff all very friendly and good breakfast. Halls and the room were especially hot at night, not sure if just a malfunction with the heating! Parking situation was a little frustrating as the listing says ‘first come first served’ but when we arrived several spaces had been reserved for people who booked ahead so we paid for the car park down the road. "

"Great hotel if you just want to use the very well presented facilities inside the hotel confines. It's easy to find but sitting on the edge of an industrial estate. Its a 15 minute walk into the centre of the town. "

"We had a lovely stay. Room was very comfortable. The food was lovely although the evening meal Menu was a little limited. Breakfast was lovely . Good choice of food , we had the full English and my only comment would be , could the sausages be browned, they tasted amazing but looked a little anaemic. Overall. Everything was lovely and we would be happy to stay again. "

"This is one of the best places we have stayed on our travels. It is an old thatched cottage style pub resplendent with some lovely original features. Walking in from the car park we loved the wisteria hung entranceway with outdoor tables and chairs. Our room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. I must admit if you sleep with the window open the road outside may disturb you but we kept it closed. We ate in the restaurant on the night of our stay and breakfast...

"The Waterfront is a 2 minute walk from the sea. Not quite overlooking it but almost. We had a deluxe double and it was spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfy. We had skylights which kept the room and large bathroom lovely and bright. There’s an extensive restaurant and bar within the hotel, which looks like you’d never have trouble getting a table, although we didn’t use it during our stay. The breakfast was included and was superb, especially the vegan one. The staff were...

Breakfast room is delightful, along with the choice of food. Clean and tidy rooms, very spacious and comfortable 'huge' beds and fluffy warm duvets. The walled terrace area is excellent for outside dog security with lovely views and peaceful surroundings. Packed lunches were made available for us at short notice and were excellent value for money...
