"The staff was great. When they saw how bad my husband's walking was, they switched us to a closer room, without us even asking. The room was very nice, modern and clean. Pools were beautiful and clean. Pool bars had excellent service, and drinks as you like them. My only concern was how thoroughly the non- disposable drink cups were washed? My favorite part was seeing the monkeys playing in the trees near the pools! The food was ok. Steakhouse was very good. Asian restaurant was excellent....

"Extremely expensive for what you get. 1st come 1st serve for shuttle and hard to access the city by walk (uphill). Allowing guests to smoke in the pool. Hotel and amenities falling apart (not well kept or maintained). Drinks majorly diluted. Had curdle milk in my coffee, was told by staff that was normal and we're adamant on not changing it. Completely dismissed for 375$ a night we we're expecting alot more. I would rate this hotel a 2-3 star max. "

"Very attentive and friendly staff. Sunset view was beautiful. Having a regular shuttle to the beach and restaurant on site was a great asset for this stay. The only thing I missed was an all inclusive breakfast that we had at all of our other stays in Costa Rica. "

"This hotel has a great location, right on the beach. There are no loungers,umbrella rentals or public restrooms on Potrero Beach so being at the hotel you have all of that. The water there is calm, great for swimming. Similar to many places in Costa Rica there were some plumbing issues, plugged toilet and plugged shower drain but maintenance fixed it right away and we were fine for the rest of the stay. "The property is in a desired location that is close to the beach and the main road with shops and restaurants. Staff are great and breakfast is wonderful! There is parking available and evening events if you choose. "
