"All excellent except dogs permitted indoors. I agree with assistance dogs but 2 of my travelling companions have had adverse experiences with dogs. One was bitten by a family pet the other chased down the street by a Rottweiler that had escaped through a fence. Given that neither of those attacks were reported there must be more than double the 24,000 annual reported attacks. In addition hygiene can be an issue if dogs go into food serving areas! "Booked our stay at the Royal Victoria Hotel for the purpose of hiking up Snowden. This was a great choice as the hotels location was ideal, being a few hundred yards from the start of the Llanberis path. The hotel itself was very clean, staff super friendly, and the room met our needs. Car parking wasn't a problem as the car park has ample space, and as previously mentioned, is a stone throw from the start of the path we would take to the summit. "All absolutely spot on just both skylights in the family room are broken, typically we had the 3 hottest days in 70 years!!!"

"Lovely stay, everything you needed. Food was great, evening meal and breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only down side is the building is dated and there was no fridge in the room."

"Good rooms. Great restaurant onsite where I ate every evening. On my 1st day, I arrived past 9pm when kitchen was already closing but they still made me food which was nice. Location is not in the center of the town but this should obvious to anyone by looking at the map. The hotel is close to some nice hiking trails. Great place to rest after exploring Wales."

"The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....
