"Our stay at La Mariposa Hotel in Manuel Antonio was phenomenal and, so far, our favourite stay in Costa Rica!
The views throughout the property were incredible, and the entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful, and the service throughout our stay was excellent.
The pools were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options for everyone in the family.

"I had a great stay. Room was clean and staff were super nice. Never felt unsafe walking around as a solo traveler. Very easy access to beach and park. Food was delicious and very pretty views. Only thing I noticed was pools could have used a little more cleaning as there was leaves and things in them. Hard to avoid though outside! Would highly recommend!"
"This hotel is so beautiful!! We went hiking in the middle of the forest, then had lunch at a local restaurant and had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and it was perfect! Breakfast is always delicious and the staff is great! Definitely going back!"

"The house and property are amazing. We love to stay at unique properties and this was one of the most unique properties we have ever stayed at. Everything about the property was clean, perfect, and very inviting. We especially enjoyed the peaceful sound of the river on the property, the extremely unique design of the home built in the middle of giant boulders, and the jacuzzi inside the home. If you are on the fence about booking a stay here just book it. We will definitely be back."
"A truly amazing gem in Costa Rica! Located in the actual park in the actual forest, it's a unique experience. Very convenient to have access right outside your doorstep to literal suspension bridges walking over the forest! The experience of having wildlife walk up to you while strolling through the hotel environment is amazing and fun for kids! Staff extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and location is close to lots of food places. Can't wait for the next visit!"

"Expedia lists this property at 3.5 stars. It’s 2 at best. I honestly don’t know why this property has gotten the high marks if people are reviewing honestly. I always try to be completely fair in my reviews and give the benefit of the doubt. That’s why I’m giving 3 stars and not 2. Our room had ants and a roach. We haven’t seen ants or roaches in any other jungle lodge at which we’ve stayed. There was no WiFi in our room even though it’s advertised. All the networks were locked and no password...
