"On the main road through Aviemore . Not noisy and enough parking off road. Room number one is very small with just enough room to manoeuvre around double bed. Small bathroom with shower. Bathroom all in black with small spotlights. This room was very disappointing as it was so small. Only a kettle and sink, no toaster. Not enough room for two adults and two dogs. There were two chairs at the bottom of the bed to watch TV both in poor condition. Photos of the property do not reflect how small...

"Everything from the property to the beautiful rooms and delicious breakfast is outstanding. This place is serene and enchanting. Just a couple minutes away is the center of town and major attractions. My partner and I would stay here again and recommend it."

"Although the room was small, it was clean, extremely well maintained, traditional yet still modern and very comfortable. Some noise from the pub downstairs in the evenings but generally quiet from around 11pm. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"Pros - good shower and heating. Cons - Electricity (main light) in the room seemed faulty and the TV didn’t work, as there is rarely anyone available in reception, I didn’t bother trying to get it fixed. The hotel is in need of renovation, very noisy and dated, bar staff not attentive, food overcooked/burnt in places. Prices vary massively from the same room, so ok if you can grab a bargain would be very disappointing if you paid double."

"The location is good. With trailheads within walking distance. They’ve tried to automate processes that either don’t work or are useless. For example the automated car registration didn’t help them notify me that my car would be blocked for a morning while heavy equipment was being moved in. Free WiFi means no useable WiFi. They did upgrade my WiFi service but should just ditch the ‘free’ version. The staff are multitasking leaving people waiting for services. Hats off to them."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Carrbridge hotel. We would go back, but not to the room we were allocated. (423) the outlook was very poor. Also, we would have liked a change to the menu instead of the same choices every night. Staff were very nice. "
