"Das Hotel ist etwas abseits gelegen, dadurch aber mitten in einer grünen Oase. Wir haben dort Tukane und andere tolle Vogelarten gesehen. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer oder vom riesigen Pool aufs Meer ist absolut beeindruckend. Im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels auf unserer Reise war das zweite Bett im Zimmer recht klein.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit selbstgemachter Marmelade. Der Kaffee hat besonders gut geschmeckt. Und auch hier hatte man einen tollen Blick.
Das Hotel können wir absolut empfehlen."
"Definitely an older property but nicely redone. You might be lucky to find one staff person on duty at any given time in case you need anything, otherwise you're on your own. While I can appreciate a clean smelling room, the smell of pinesol or fabuloso was so strong that I had a headache, and my clothes reeked of it after just 2 nights. Plenty of potential of there were some minor improvements. Great location."
"The view was amazing and staff were very friendly. I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing.
The restaurant was the most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica and to be honest, the food was not bad, but not good. Definitely...
"Die Wohnung ist klein, aber völlig ausreichend, einfach , aber sauber. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Lage am Strand mit den angebotenen Sitzkissen und Liegestühlen traumhaft. Zwischen 4 und 6 gab es eine HappyHour mit guten Cocktails. Beim Frühstück konte man aus 3 Varianten wählen, Obst gab es on top. Sehr lecker."

We had a great experience with Ballena Rey in Uvita! The staff was friendly and professional, and the whale watching tour was an unforgettable experience. We were lucky enough to see humpback whales and enjoyed the beautiful scenery around Marino Ballena National Park. 🐋🌊🇨🇷 Highly recommend!"
"The cabin was spotless, but could use some repair on the tiles in the shower. The proximity to the park and ability to walk to restaurants and tour companies, make it more than the best place to stay for the Whales Tail."
"Very clean and safe. Everything seemed new. AC worked great. Good WiFi. Pool and outdoor kitchen are very nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. I especially liked the very clean feeling without the overwhelming chemical cleaning smell so many places have. It was quiet and serene. Good service from onsite staff. Highly recommend."
