"We chose this location as part of our 6 day road trip from Wellington to Auckland. It is in a pleasant and convenient location for us and met our needs for an overnight stay."

"Very helpful, friendly and great staff. They put a lot on for the kids and families which was great. Whole campsite was family friendly. Beds were super comfy. Only thing was our cabin was quite run down, needed some tlc and a very big deep clean."

"Our room was clean and well appointed. It was an adequate size with a separate bathroom. The place is a little dated but clean and comfortable. The bed was a generous size and was comfortable. Unfortunately we were in the corner unit 1 to the left of the reception area and the outlook was the back of the office with cleaining equipment and rubbish bins. "The beds were very old and the springs were gone and it was hard. The bathroom floor was rotting and the shower was spraying through the curtain."

"Motel.was clean and warm But needs a new fridge there was no storage in the fridge door so had to lay milk down witch leaked Need fly spray carnt leave windows open because of mozzies. Otherwise very good . Pool was excellent good temperature. New alterations have made it even better but needs somewhere to store your towels and clothes when it rains. Thanks."

"Clean, functional, comfortable bed. Good selection of tea, coffee, etc."

"Fin hytte med gode faciliteter. Meget venlig manager, rolig omgivelser tæt på vandet "

"Very unique, memorable accommodation. Lovely rural location, so restful, the gardens are stunning. Loved it!!"

"I would recommend staying somewhere else. Bugs everywhere in the room, especially when it was night. I stayed in room 10 which sits in the sun all day. There are no blackout curtains for all the windows so the room gets very warm. The water from the sink tasted like dirt. But worst of all, The husband that runs the motel is a rude and impatient human being. Stay somewhere else."

"Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Room needed to be aired out. Pillow or something needed to be washed or replaced.... room smelled like a clothes rack of unwashed second hand clothing found on an op-shop. Price was very good and met my needs"
