"Tha staff were very helpful and polite, the hotel is well positioned for access to A1 and local bus route to Town. The room was perfect with plenty of room and an extra large bed. We had dinner in the hotel there was plenty of choice and all freshly cooked, excellent."

"Honestly, had I been travelling alone, I don’t think I would have stayed. On arrival, the hotel appeared deserted and the main door was locked. After several minutes of banging, the only staff member on duty eventually appeared. When I asked about the advertised free parking, he pointed to where I had stopped on the street, partly on double yellow lines. Despite my concerns about parking illegally, he insisted it was fine and simply shrugged when I challenged him. Needless to say, I moved my...

"Very impressed,excellent hotel"

"The room was in need of updating, worn and dirty carpets, shabby draperies."

"The bar & outside area was really good. Lovely beer garden. Staff were very friendly. We did not have breakfast but Dinner menu had a good selection of very tasty food."

"This is one of the better Premier inn locations. Staff were available and it was reasonably clean. It was also quiet."

"Beautiful room with lots of lovely touches including the cookies and the cafeteria coffee. The choice of breakfast was really good and the coffee was great. The staff were attentive and very welcoming and gave us good suggestions of where to go and where was good to eat. A very special place we hope to go back soon. H"

"Hotel was nice however the host insisted my colleague paid her direct in her account even this had been paid for via Hotels.com"

"The only thing going for this place was the central location, near to historic sites and restaurants. The faults were many. It was advertised as a B&B, but breakfasts had ceased in June of this year. the room was shabby and claustrophobic. dust and grime were apparent throughout. the shower room was cramped and mould was apparent. The shower hose and head were caked in mould. no hot water available. the room suffered from dampness and subsequently our clothes were damp after hanging in the...

"Room was clean, but mould/mildew in bathroom. No wifi. Bit of a trek into town but it’s a nice walk, uphill on the way back. Lady downstairs was lovely. Definitely lots of noise coming from the pub when you’re trying to sleep. Cheap accommodation, you pay for what you get."

"Hosts are polite and lively and room was beautifully decorated."

"Location, shop nearby, plenty of pubs and restaurants close by."

"Beds very uncomfortable. Location was ok"

"Lovely apartment, great location and easy parking. The flat was fully equipped with everything you could need for a short break. The Harry Potter themed rooms was a bonus"

"Fantastic house for celebrating a 60th birthday. Near the town for restauarants and bars. Beds comfy and bedrooms all big and bright. 2 ground bedrooms suited our party. No cleaning stuff left and issue with outside bins being full . Website could have been clearer re short term stays and paying for hot tub.. meaning we had less time to use once the extra had been paid"
