"We stayed for two nights & the staff were all lovely and very helpful. We returned wanting food one night not realising that the restaurant was closed but the lady on reception was very helpful supporting to order a food delivery then providing plates and allowing us to eat in the cosy restaurant.
The room we had was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. They were"
"The lady in the bar was super friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here. The only thing I would add would be a fan in the bedroom during this hot weather."
"**Disappointing stay, particularly for an elderly guest**
We booked a two\-night stay based on the hotel’s excellent 8\.8 rating on Expedia, but unfortunately our experience fell well short of expectations\.
On arrival, reception was unattended and our keys had been left on the desk. Staffing was extremely limited, the dining room was cold and we had to eat in the adjoining pub instead. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also very cold, with the hotel heating switched off despite the cold...
"Everything was great. Maybe a usb charging point might have been good in the room. The only annoying thing was the shower gel dispenser in the bath. It didnt work. Luckily i had my own to hand."
"Greatly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel in a medieval town. The rooms were very nice, the restaurant was excellent. Many lovely places to sit with a drink and/or food. Wonderful breakfast and close, free parking. Very conveniently located"
"We enjoyed our room with a view over the nearby river. Recommend having that room.
The TV did not work the first day but we were recompensed for that.
The room needs side tables.
Breakfast was ok. Not outstanding but sufficient.
Be good to have fresh coffee not instant and better quality sausages instead of off the shelf super market quality.
All in all enjoyed our stay with a nice country location"
"Very pleasing location with great view to Bristol Channel. Super friendly and helpful young couple is running it. If we would be in Lynton again, definetely we would consider to be there again!"
"We really enjoyed our stay. We were walking the SWCP and were glad to stop earlier on this leg. (Just dont take the road to the lighthouse and then climb the scree over the hill: steep and dangerous). The room was excellent. Comfortable. Delicious dinner down stairs, and lucky for us on our night, a live singer providing a musical background atmosphere. She was lovely, and just the thing to elevate the evening to next level."
"We felt very welcome from arrival till departure. Good location, cheap parking nearby, decent breakfast to start your day. Keep in mind that the rooms are not air contained and not all windows can be opened. Ask for a fan of necessary."
"Nice, bright room at the top of the inn looking over the village street down to Hurlstone Point. Big, clean en-suite. Good full English breakfast, very friendly staff who wanted to be sure we were happy. The bar was lively in the evening with plenty of groups at the sofas, tables and bar-stools."
