"The host was very welcoming and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The location is perfect, quiet and at the same time close to the Medina which is good to walk around and visit the old city of Fes. The room price was affordable 50 euro per night, whereas Expedia listed the price in Moroccan dirham. The room was clean and the bathroom too but there is this sewer smell which is understandable because it’s an old riad and could have come through the open window from outside. "The absolute worst hotel I’ve ever booked. Took nearly an hour to check in because they were accidentally overbooked. They said there were no rooms I had booked available and instead gave me a temporary bigger room… but the smell in there was awful. I thought it was gasoline at first and got a massive headeache after just minutes in the room. Turns out the walls were freshly painted which I discovered after moving my bags which were now covered in wet paint. As they had no other rooms available...

"Nice place has a lot of potential. Took more money than what agreed through Expedia. Not the most helpful of people ask for ice on a couple of occasions to no help. The fridge is terrible for keeping anything close to cold. Asked for an iron but to no help. They do not change the bedsheets on every occasion of housekeeping. Get your money exchanged else where they don’t give a good rate. They think customer service is a smile only. For a four star hotel it behaves as a two star. "
